I took a chance and purchased some rubber hand guards from a chap on ebay.
I must say , pleasantly surprised....so long story short.i have ordered a second pair.i am in contact.and he is doing another run so I believe. Very Happy..top photo is a close up
bottom is a comparison with RS handguards(RS are the ones at the top.)

Ok .the guy is making more of these hand guards.instead of ebay he is on fb under props emporium. You can contact him on there if you are interested.they take 3 to 4 days to cure.
